MDAC seeks a Policy and Advocacy Officer

The Mental Disability Advocacy Center, an international human rights NGO headquartered in Budapest, seeks a Policy and Advocacy Officer. The post-holder will manage a three-year project in Egypt, Georgia, Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and Sierra Leone which aims to build the capacity of NGOs to advocate for ratification and effective implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The project includes producing an educational training package, delivering capacity-building seminars to civil society organisations, producing policy papers, domestic advocacy, holding national roundtables, engaging with the media, strategic litigation, and outreach to beneficiaries.
