SPíRIT Project Coordinator – Job Announcement

The Developmental Disabilities Planning Council has been working with the Consortium of Innovative Practices on a project to promote the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in their spiritual communities. They are seeking part-time coordinator for the Project. We would like to help spread knowledge of this program to people qualified to help them meet their goals.

Coordinator Wanted: The SPíRIT Project, a Central NY community inclusion initiative to support the interests of individuals with developmental disabilities to participate in spiritual and congregational activities, is seeking a part-time coordinator.

Coordinator responsibilities include:

• providing training,
• conducting field outreach and education,
• administering comprehensive sets of evaluation surveys,
• providing consultation and technical assistance,
• tracking activities and outcomes, and
• producing quarterly outcome-based reports.

Qualifications: developmental disabilities service delivery experience including service coordination and/or residential habilitation services work. Requires schedule flexibility, excellent communication and time-management skills, access to computer with stable Internet connection, and a reliable source of transportation.
