Other Conditions:
  • Federal funds to begin approximately January 1, 2010, continuation dependent on performance and annual renewal of funds.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Multiple duties, under the direction of the Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator include teaching courses in American Samoa and for the Disability Studies Certificate; coordinating project activities; supervising other personnel; facilitating communities of practice in STEM fields; collaborating with personnel from multiple departments and fields; collecting data; and analyzing data.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Doctorate Degree in special education, disability studies, a STEM field, or other related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Extensive experience working with youth and adults with disabilities.
  • Supervisory and administrative experience.
  • Interdisciplinary curricula experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Successful record of publishing research.
  • Successful record of obtaining competitive funding.
